Why Buy Real Estate In Denver?

Denver, Colorado, nicknamed the “Mile High City,” is situated amid the Great Plains and the Rocky Mountains. Denver continues to be a popular place to buy real estate since it boasts strong cultural opportunities, scenic vistas, year-round sunshine, and an array of recreational opportunities. There are just over a half a million people within the city limits of Denver. The median age of a Denver resident is 34 years old, which makes it a young dynamic city.

Opportunities abound for buying Denver real estate in traditional neighborhoods including Capitol Hill, LoDo, Cherry Creek, Bonnie Brae, Washington Park, Stapleton, Uptown and Highlands. Young married professionals, empty nesters and singles are particularly attracted to these areas because of their close proximity to the downtown area´s entertainment venues and its flourishing nightlife scene.

Denver homeowners have seen a 3-5% appreciation during the past five years. The Denver real estate market has the major ups and downs seen in other parts of the countries, which makes it more immune to the dreaded real estate bubble. The median home price in the Denver metro area is just under $250,000.
