Welcome to Stapleton! Discover a distinctive urban lifestyle at Stapleton with its unique array of homes, shopping, office parks and recreational opportunities. Stapleton, the largest built green community in the United States, is a delightful blend of 21st century technology, traditional tree-lined neighborhoods and classic urban architecture.
Stapleton, the largest urban development in the United States, is located about five miles east of downtown Denver and features a splendid blending of urban villages, retail centers, employment and wide-open spaces. The community features design elements from the New Urbanist movement, which showcases traditional architecture in the form of front porches and hidden garages.
With a diverse blend of exquisite homes, townhouses, lofts, condominiums, and apartments, Stapleton does not lack residential real estate choices. Many of Stapleton´s homes feature broad front porches, classically styled architecture, and distinctive floor plans. Stapleton´s new homebuilders, which have brought much distinction to the area, include Harvard Communities, John Laing Homes, Moda Lofts, Parkwood Homes, Trimark Homes and Urban Estate Homes. Property prices range from the low $200,000′s up into the millions and property owners have seen favorable appreciation 5% or more per year.
While the new Stapleton development was being designed, city planners put limitations on Stapleton’s development so much of its open space would be maintained. This resulted in nearly 30% of its land (4,700 acres) being dedicated to parks and open space. The centerpiece of the planning is Stapleton´s 1,116-acre regional park system that features an 80-acre Central Park area.
Stapleton, a social community, is home to a number of festivals, outdoor activities and other sponsored events. Some of these include the annual Fall Festival, a Wine Festival and a Spring Fling. For residents who enjoy the outdoors, Stapleton´s locale affords many opportunities for fishing, hunting, hiking, skiing, or golf. With all of this and more, it is no wonder that more and more people are moving to Stapleton.
Stapleton residents also enjoy many shopping and dining opportunities at the world-class shopping areas of The Shops at Northfield Stapleton, Quebec Square and the East 29th Avenue Town Center. The community also features a delightful farmers market, which is open from June to October each year.
Stapleton is located at Quebec and I-70, which offers easy access to the business centers and cultural venues located in downtown Denver. The community also has a well-designed transportation system that utilizes public transportation systems while easing pedestrian traffic.
