Colorado Named Among Country’s Happiest States
Colorado has been named among the happiest states in the country. The 2009 Gallup-Healthways Well-Being Index conducted interviews with 350,000 American adults. The well-being score was calculated from the average of six sub-categories, including life evaluation, emotional health, work environment, physical health, healthy behavior, and basic access.
Other high-ranking “happy” states included Hawaii, Utah, Montana, Minnesota, Iowa and Vermont.
It’s easy to see why people are happy living in Colorful Colorado – our state offers endless recreational, professional, and cultural opportunities, along with some of the most beautiful scenery in the country.
