Denver-Area High Schools Ranked Among “1,500 Top U.S. High Schools”

Several Denver-area high schools were ranked among Newsweek’s “1,500 Top U.S. High Schools” this week. The schools that were selected ranked in the top six percent of all U.S. high schools,  based on the “number of Advanced Placement, Intl. Baccalaureate and/or Cambridge tests taken by all students at a school in 2008 divided by the number of graduating seniors.” Congratulations to the following top-notch Colorado high schools that made this prestigious list (the schools appear in the order they were ranked):

Fairview High School (Boulder)
Niwot High School (Niwot)
Boulder High School (Boulder)
Cherry Creek High School (Greenwood Village)
